Subject: FEATURE FREEZE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 0.8.3 RELEASE
From: QGroundControl Maintainer <ma...@qgroundcontrol.org>
To: QGroundControl <qground...@googlegroups.com>
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all,

I would like to announce a feature freeze on February 26th, unless
good reasons come up why we would have to postpone it. I made today
Google earth work on the Windows platform (binaries tomorrow), which
was the last shiny feature I deemed necessary for a reasonable
release.

The remaining week should be mostly used for final tweaks and
bugfixes. I've received excellent feedback from enthusiastic testers
and resolved about 200 issues in the last 14 days alone.

I would also like to invite the core devs to make sure this release
has all in they need for their individual platforms.
