ArduPilot released with GPL License instead of the stated LGPL

I checked the license file text and it report to be GPLv3 when it's stated on www.diydrones.com that the project is LGPL.

This should be indeed clarified and fixed.

It's been clarified that the Project is GPLv3 and not LGPL. It indeed was changed for APM project. Thx
