MusicNet Announces Digital Music Distribution Agreement with Sony Music Entertainment

NEW YORK - November 15, 2002 -- MusicNet, a leading digital music company, today announced an agreement with Sony Music Entertainment (SME), where SME will make recordings available from its catalog of recordings on a non-exclusive basis to MusicNet subscribers. The music will be offered to consumers through MusicNet's distribution partners, which by the end of the year will include AOL and RealNetworks.

Under terms of the agreement, SME will make titles from artists including Miles Davis, Dixie Chicks, Celine Dion, Incubus, Jennifer Lopez, and Bruce Springsteen available to MusicNet to be incorporated into the service, allowing for streaming, downloading, burning and portability options.
