As the title says, Nethack 3.1 has been released this week. Does anyone plan
on porting it to Linux? If not, I'll try to set up 99.4 on my machine this
weekend. If I succeed then by next Monday I should be able to try to get
Nethack up and running.

I've got it running already under X11 - without a hitch. It's
absolutely GORGEOUS.

If nobody beats me to it I'll upload binaries to sunsite soon. I'll
also have to make a separate tty-only (no-X11) binary.

Cheers,
 Stephen Tweedie.

There is no porting involved. Just folllow the instructions and it
compiles just fine. no probs at all.
