OK, here is the draft of the paper for Heidelberg. There are a couple of areas where I need some help. 1) Please look over the "Applications known to work" section, and add to it if you can. Also, (I hate to admit this), but I have no idea what Oracle and Informix actually do - are these for database management, or what?? 2) The ackknowledgements is just a list of the people from the Credits file. If anyone else should be added please say so. If you prefer to have everyone listed with their contributions by their name (like in the current CREDITS file), now is a good time to speak up. I do not mean to cut anyone out at all here, but I just wanted to try and keep it brief. There is also a short thing called lj-article.txt. It is intended as a short introduction to iBCS2, and if everything goes according to plan will appear in the August issue. I have strange feeling writing this - it is intended as a howto guide for people not very linux-literate, but given the ALPHA nature of the thing, I am not sure if I really want these people trying it out. I am gambling that the ipc changes and the shared library stuff will be resolved in the next 6-8 weeks. The indications are that both problems are under control, so this does not really seem unrealistic at all. -Eric
