Robhoo started as a glimmer in a poor programmers eye. He was bored, and had a few hours to kill so he threw together a simple database for maintaining URLs. How was I to know that in the few short years since that that Robhoo would grow to the immense database that it is.
Robhoo dwarfs the size of Lycos [ http://www.lycos.com ], ,the power of Yahoo [ http://www.yahoo.com ], and isn't affiliated in any way with AoL like Webcrawler [ http://www.webcrawler.com/ ].
Robhoo runs on a cluster of 10 Sparc 20's in Holland Michigan. It's crawl engine patrols the web 24 hours a day seeking new links to add to it's gigantic database. In fact, as of March 11, Robhoo had over 100 Million links!
