I am currently working out all the preliminary work to write a drvier for
the Matrox DVD Decoder. This card is an add-on to the G200 series cards.
The card is based on a chip made by Zoran. Zoran is sending me the docs
for their chip, and Matrox is sending me the docs on the chip that sits on
the card w/ the Zoran chip.
The project web site is http://pulsar.doobie.org.
I am working on getting some of the basic setup code for the module and
the V4L stuff. The card is not released yet. By starting some of this
early, I am hoping to have a working alpha driver out within a month or so
of the card's release.
I am needing help with: coding, web site update (duh just look at it), V4L
vs V4L2 info etc.

You might wanbt to have a look at the existing zoran drivers
(mine) and the buz thing...
(both have URLs which can be found at the incrediable slow roadrunner site)
