IBM enhances its Web site featuring Linux information, activities

April 23, 2001

IBM has improved its Web site about the Linux operating system, providing a more comprehensive portal with information for various audiences.

The site at http://www.ibm.com/linux features audience-based navigation that, once selected, shifts smoothly to task navigation tailored to the concerns of each audience. So whether a visitor to the site is an executive of a large business or small business, a Business Partner or a designer of embedded systems, a journalist or technology consultant, the information will be available quickly and easily.

The site is designed to showcase IBM support for Linux across the board -- hardware, software and services, plus positioning IBM as a member of the open source community.

IBM also is publicly launching an electronic newsletter, "The Linux Line." You can subscribe at http://www.ibm.com/linux/linuxline
