SMP problem

I am using hercules to run z/VM 4.3 under a dual AMD 1.9 (true MP)
machine, with 2 GB of DDR registered memory. I dedicated 1 GB to z/VM
plus 512 MB of expanded storage. I am using the following parameters
in hercules config:

CPUSERIAL 002623 # CPU serial number
CPUMODEL 9672 # CPU model number
MAINSIZE 1024 # Main storage size in megabytes
XPNDSIZE 512 # Expanded storage size in megabytes
CNSLPORT 3270 # TCP port number to which consoles connect
HTTPPORT 9000
NUMCPU 2 # Number of CPUs
LOADPARM 0080 # Load Parameters
OSTAILOR VM # OS tailoring
PANRATE 999 # Panel refresh rate
ARCHMODE ESAME # Architecture mode S/370, ESA/390 or ESAME
DEVTMAX 0
PGMPRDOS LICENSED

I am getting the following error after the system is running:
SYSTEM FAILURE ON CPU 0000, CODE - PRG001

It happens in different times, that is, it is not at the same point.
Some times I bring up all the system, with no problem, and in the
middle of a task, the system craches and re-ipl itself.I suspect it
occurs when I start using the 2nd CP. I guess it seems a sync problem.
Btw, I am running hercules 2-16-5 and installed it from tar file. I am
using RedHat 7.3.
I am pretty sure that is a SMP problem, once when I use just one CPU
it runs with no problem.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Thanks,

Joe.

MVPG to/from expanded storage is undefined as there is no expanded storage in
ESAME mode. Set XPNDSIZE to zero and retry.

Unfortunately, setting Xpanded to zero did not fix the problem. After
a more acurated test, I got the same PROG01 error. If I use just one
CPU, it is OK (even with Xpanded). Any other sugestion?

Joe.
