I heard that someone once offered a prize to the first person who could
find a groklaw statement which was in any way critical of IBM.

The story goes that the prize has never been claimed.

I've been glancing through groklaw. It is not exactly what I would
call a forum for informed debate. They seem to start with a conclusion
(in this case, "TurboHercules is bad") and work backwards from there
to develop a proof, ignoring any inconvenient facts that get in the
way.
