New Nokia 3589i Handset Supports Verizon Wireless Data Services

Bedminster, Nj and Irving, Texas - Verizon Wireless and Nokia (NYSE: NOK) today announced the availability of the new Nokia 3589i wireless phone. The full-color Nokia 3589i phone facilitates personalization with its graphical Caller-ID icons, optional Xpress-on front and back color covers and capacity to download polyphonic ring tones. Additionally, support for Verizon Wireless' Get It NowSM service allows Nokia 3589i phone owners to download exciting entertainment and productivity applications directly to their handsets.

Get It Now from Verizon Wireless is a virtual store with hundreds of applications available for download over the air - without hooking up to a PC or visiting a Verizon Wireless Communications Store.

Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading, and using certain applications.
