First Mozilla Developer Meeting

On April 7th, 2000, Alphanumerica sponsored the first Mozilla Developer Meeting from 11 am - 6 pm at Netscape's campus in Mountain View, Calif. This event was set to coincide with the Mozilla 3.0 Party that was held in San Francisco the day before.

The event was held in the Sputnik conference room in building 22 and was attended by about 80 people. Lunch was served from 12 noon - 1 pm and there was an informal gathering from 4 pm - 6 pm after the meeting. Lunch as well as T-shirts were available for free.

From 1 pm - 4 pm there was a series of informal discussions about various topics of interest to the Mozilla community. At the meeting there were many different people who have expertise in many different areas. Discussions included Bug Tracking in Mozilla, Skin development, and Mozilla as a Platform.

Of course these topics were not the only things discussed. To find out more about how the meeting went, view the pictures taken at the event or talk to people who were there in the meetzilla mailing list.
