He is an active member of the Utah Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Evidence and past President of the A. Sherman Christensen American Inn of Court.

"Clark is a seasoned, thoughtful attorney who has had a long career in private practice serving both clients and the legal community," said Victor A. Taylor, Firm President. "We are pleased he has received this honor. We will miss him, but clearly our loss is Utah's gain."

Taylor also noted that Parr Waddoups has become a recognized firm for those seeking new candidates for the bench. "Clark is the fifth shareholder who has gone from the firm to a judicial position," he said. "We are honored by these appointments."

Taylor said Mr. Waddoups' clients will see a seamless transition to other members of the firm. "We pride ourselves on a team approach to client work, and Clark's clients will continue working with the same attorneys they've been in contact with all along. Clark has also served as a mentor to many of our shareholders and associates and they share his strong values of professionalism and client service."
