Yahoo Finance censoring factual posts

Earlier this week, I noticed several topics vanishing at the Yahoo SCOX board, so I decided to run a little test;

I posted a message with the following title - Conversion = corporate theft - and this was the message body;

"This message is 100% factual, applies 100% to the executives and Board of Directors of The SCO Group, and is 100% topical to the discussions on this message board, of the court proceedings SCOXQ.pk is currently involved in."

I've posted it twice, and it has been deleted twice. No warnings, no notices, nothing.

Exactly what the hell is going on over there, and how can we expose it?

I thought about posting this on GL, but it might not be received all that well over there... ;-)

Here's an alternative. You decide which choice is more likely.

(1) A message with several occurrences of a typical spam tag (100% FREE!! 100% GUARANTEED!! 100% REAL!!) matched an anti-spam heuristic and was auto-deleted, just as happens about 10,000 times a day.

(2) Poring over the Yahoo SCOX board as he does every morning at 5 AM, Ralph Yarro saw your post and turned pale with horror and rage. He immediatley got on the phone with Jerry Yang and demanded that this terribly damaging revelation be suppressed. Yang said, "Of course, sir. I'll take care of it right away. Please forgive me. I had no idea that anyone had ever accused SCO of wrongdoing on one of our finance boards."

Not that it matters, but the subject line is inaccurate. Conversion is not "corporate theft." Theft is criminal, and conversion is civil.

Oh, and please, let's have more spillover from Yahoo onto this board. That will really help raise the level of discourse.

Your theory, as arrogantly delivered as it was, still fails even a cursory sniff test. Salty's post was not deleted by this non-existent "anti-spam heuristic", or it would have also caught my repost. The inconsistent way that things disappear on Yahoo renders any idea of a bot crawling around deleting posts that contain "100%" or other equally innocuous phrases is just idiotic.

Your second "alternative" is just you being an assh*le to Salty because you think you're a genius and he isn't or something.

Here is the third alternative, already put forth: the troll who relentlessly hounds Salty on the Yahoo board when he isn't here having you launch tepid bon mots down the bridge of your nose at him *reported his post*, hoping that some retard at Yahoo would oblige him, and they did.

Gosh, I guess that isn't as insulting as your second theory, or as moronic as your first, but it's the banal, unadorned truth.

<<Oh, and please, let's have more spillover from Yahoo onto this board. That will really help raise the level of discourse.>>

See my previous reply.

I'd better get out of here before I get asked for my membership credentials.

I was going to come in here and try to defend myself, but I see someone has already done it for me (thanks, Tim!).

Whomever this mental midget is, he has been repeatedly stalking and harassing me on the Yahoo board, to the point where I had to file a report with the Maplewood MN police department. (Minnesota has several statutes on the books that deal with cyberstalking and Internet-based harassment.) Still, it keeps happening, and now, he's gone so far as to file frivolous reports on my posts, causing them to be deleted. I'm sick of his shit, and I'm not going to let him (or anyone else) silence me. If that's a problem, feel free to ignore me - but let everyone else make their own choice to do the same. That's all.

P.S. I still say it's Toad-boy.
