DVD Forum Holds U.S. DVD Conference in San Francisco in October
July 28, 1998--The DVD Forum, the international association dedicated to developing DVD formats and promoting wide acceptance of this versatile technology, announced today that it will hold the third U.S. DVD Conference on October 1-2, 1998, in San Francisco, California. The venue will be the Grand Peninsula Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency SF Airport, offering visitors the convenience of easy access.
The two-day conference provides an excellent opportunity to explore the fast-extending scope of DVD, and latest format developments. Among key items on the agenda will be the recent standardization of DVD-Audio, DVD-RAM, DVD-R and DVD-RW. There would also be displays and demonstrations of the latest DVD products and technologies.
Registration for the DVD Conference is $100 per person from DVD Forum member companies, and $295 per person from non-member companies. A discount rate of $249 is offered to non-members registering by August 31. The registration fee includes lunch on both days of the conference. Accommodations are available at the Hyatt Regency SF Airport.
