[Canberrauav] Sunday Testing results Stephen Dade stephen_dade at hotmail.com Sun Jun 3 23:53:45 EST 2012 Hi all, This weekend's objectives were to test Tridge's changes (greater reliability, via some software changes) to the radio links. Tridge was at Red Hill and Jack/Myself were at CMAC with the Cybermugin. We did a series of flights over our Joes in the nearby field, which the Pandaboard (and Tridge) were able to detect quite easily. The improved radio links worked very well and there was very little dropout. Since it was quite overcast at the field, we got a nice set of low-light images of Joe. Up until now, we've only captured images on sunny days. So now we can check how our algorithms cope with differing lighting conditions. Now that we've confirmed the stability of our long range radio links, we will shift focus onto: Getting the Beaver up and running Tuning the APM for large and fast aircraft Enhancing the Ground Control Station Bottle drops (and of course) more image capturing of Joe Thanks Stephen
