MedAbiliti Announces XM Network

New York, NY, February 18, 2003

MedAbiliti (Bloomberg: 202163Z EQUITY) today announced the release of an innovative software solution, XM Network, written for client Exemplar International who will use it as a web-based occupational health testing service. It is the first all-encompassing occupational testing software, modularly designed, so it can be uniquely configured to suit client needs.

All OSHA tests can be run on XM Network, or just one, as desired. XM Network captures test data and creates reports in real time, so there is instant feedback. This means that no matter where the test is being run, test results are accessible from anywhere on Exemplar's secure server 24 hours a day.

"The challenge was that, unlike other industry solutions," says Nicolas Richards, CEO of MedAbiliti, "Exemplar wanted XM Network to be a one-stop, all-encompassing solution for the occupational testing market. This required seamlessly integrating every kind of OSHA test, or just one test, with security and efficiency, so the client could easily choose the precise elements desired on a case-by-case basis. We solved this challenge with a modular design. As the name indicates, XM Network is a network of testing modules that can be added or not as the client's needs dictate. Now, instead of using multiple vendors to get all the tests run, all you need is Exemplar's XM Network web service for any and every type of OSHA test."

"The instant results XM Network makes available are a powerful tool for increased efficiency and cost savings for Exemplar's clients. By providing a web-based service environment, clients can get immediate test results, without having to wait days or weeks for test results to be delivered to their human resources departments. Rather, the HR departments can view the results as the data is being collected."

XM Network has multiple functions built into one system. It captures test data, manages all the data from the medical tests conducted, and creates reports in real time. In this way there is instant feedback and no need for a company to run multiple programs or switch back and forth between systems when more than one kind of OSHA test needs to be run. No matter where the tests are being run, the results are accessible right away, 24 hours a day, from anywhere by connecting with an ordinary browser to Exemplar's secure server. No special software needs to be downloaded at the client end.

"We're extremely pleased that that we are now positioned to offer our clients this unique service," says MedAbiliti's Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, E F Meinert, "because we know it will reliably care for their occupational health testing needs in a way that has never been possible before. We are pleased to be the first to provide a one-stop, web-based service environment where all the client will need is a browser and a connection to the internet for all its occupational health testing needs. A business using our service can now know instantly if there's a problem at any location and can act more efficiently and effectively, thanks to XM Network. We're very proud of XM Network's flexibility and ease of use."

"The last thing any company needs in this economy is extended downtime while the staff struggles with a steep learning curve, trying to master new software. With XM Network, in contrast, nothing has to be installed on your computers. So if XM Network is updated, you don't have a do a thing. The next time you connect, there's nothing you need to do to take advantage of the update. It's been done. If you have a browser and a PC, you can use XM Network. MedAbiliti designs everything with ease-of-use as one of our goals. Both in software design and in our documentation, ease of use is a hallmark of MedAbiliti products. Additionally, MedAbiliti is an expert in security systems, which is one reason Exemplar looked to us, and XM Network was designed to be secure."
