When I'm not hacking Quake [ http://graphics.stanford.edu/~quake/ ] or the Lego RCX [ http://graphics.stanford.edu/~kekoa/rcx/ ], I'm a graduate student in the Computer Graphics Lab at Stanford. My current research aims to support real-time programmable shading [ http://graphics.stanford.edu/projects/shading ] on mainstream graphics hardware. I also spend some time as a member of a group studying parallel graphics architectures [ http://graphics.stanford.edu/projects/flashg/ ].
I recently gave a talk [ http://graphics.stanford.edu/~kekoa/sigcourse-20000724/ ] about a version of our programmable shading system as part of a SIGGRAPH course [ http://www.siggraph.org/s2000/conference/courses/crs27.html ].
