Microsoft applications compatible with A/UX 2.0

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Concurrent with Tuesday's announcement by Apple Computer Inc. that A/UX 2.0 now can be ordered, Microsoft Corp. announced A/UX compatibility of three its key business applications; Microsoft Word version 4.0, Microsoft Excel version 2.2 and Microsoft PowerPoint version 2.01.

Each of the applications that is compatible with A/UX is available now. Microsoft Word version 4.0 is the leading word processing program for Macintosh systems. It features a fully editable WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface, a table generator, easy integration of text, data and graphics to create compound documents, and powerful style sheets.
Microsoft Excel version 2.2 is the best-selling business analysis program for Macintosh systems. With over 130 built-in functions, more than 40 chart types and an array of presentation features, Microsoft Excel combines a powerful analytical tool with presentation quality output. CL/1 support has been integrated into Microsoft Excel version 2.2, providing easy access to data stored on mainframes.
Microsoft PowerPoint version 2.01 is the top-selling desktop presentations product for the Macintosh.
