Memory
The memory selection made from the phone interface does not affect the applications
in the communicator interface, which uses "memory B", Phone memory.

Communicator interface memory
Total memory is 8 MB; 2 MB is specifically allocated for user data. The memory
is allocated as follows:
- 2 MB FLASH for user data and non-volatile applications information
- 4 MB FLASH for operating system and applications (also WWW cache)
- 2 MB DRAM for program execution (volatile memory)
BatteryThe Nokia 9000i and 9000il Communicator has a dedicated attachable Lithium-ion
battery. This battery contains 2 cells with nearly 800 mAh capacity and the necessary
protection circuitry with a 4 pin external connector.

proximity to a base transceiver station, and periods of time in extreme temperatures
(keep the communicator between 14 and +131 degrees F (-10 to +55 C)).
