Ms. Browner, an attorney, is widely recognized for her innovative partnerships with the business community and non-governmental organizations, forging common sense, cost-effective solutions to public health and environmental challenges. She has served as Counselor of the Department of State, Special Advisor to the President and Secretary of State on North Korea, and Assistant Secretary of State for Legislative Affairs which included responsibility for securing the Department's more than $23 billion annual budget appropriation.
