Commodore Intl to Introduce New Low Price Microcomputers

NY -DJ- COMMODORE INTERNATIONAL LTD. SAID IT WOULD INTRODUCE TWO NEW LOW PRICE MICROCOMPUTER SYSTEMS AND A NEW LOW PRICE VIDEO GAME-MICROCOMPUTER-MUSIC SYNTHESIZER SYSTEM AT THE CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW IN LAS VEGAS WHICH BEGINS TOMORROW.
ACCORDING TO IRVING GOULD, CHAIRMAN, THE NEW MICROCOMPUTER SYSTEMS INCLUDE THE COMMODORE 64 A FULL COLOR FOURTY COLUMN MICROCOMPUTER WITH 64K OR 64 000 BYTES OF BUILT-IN MEMORY AND THE COMMODORE ULTIMAX A COMBINATION VIDEO GAME-MICRO COMPUTER-MUSIC SYNTHESIZER.
THE LATER DEVICE ACCORDING TO GOULD IS A FULL COLOR 'VERY HIGH GRAPHICS RESOLUTION VIDEOGRAM' WITH A COMPUTER MEMBRANE KEYBOARD WHICH PERMITS THE VIDEO GAME TO ALSO BE USED AS A MICROCOMPUTER WITH BUILT-IN MEMORY.
A SECOND MEMBRANE KEYBOARD WHICH FITS OVER THE ORIGINAL MEMBRANE KEYBOARD PERMITS THE COMMODORE ULTIMAX TO FUNCTION AS A MINITURIZED MUSICAL INSTRUMENT.
THE MUSIC PLAYED ON THE NEW PRODUCT WILL HAVE THE JUSICAL NOTES SHOW UP VISUALLY ON A TELEVISION SCREEN OR MONITOR TO WHICH IT IS CONNECTED THE COMPANY SAID.
IN ITS MEMORY THE DEVICE WILL ALSO STORE THE MUSIC PLAYED WHICH CAN BE RECALLED FOR INSTANT PLAYBACK.
THE COMPANY ALSO SAID IT WOULD INTRODUCE THE 'SUPERVIC' A 16K FULL COLOR MICROCOMPUTER. ALL THREE NEW PRODUCTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY IN THE SPRING IT SAID.
