As the title implies, I would like to know which is the better/faster
card. I also want to know which works the best w/ IBM's Drivers.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Don't begin a bash on diamond thread. I am a student
who doesn't have much cash, I don't care about making political statements
with my purchases. I just want the best thing for the money. When I
graduate and have alot more money I will change my purchasing habits (I'll
buy a #9 :)).
Thanks,
BoB

There really isn't much difference between the two. I know you don't want to
hear any Diamond bashing, but there's not enough difference to justify doing
business with a sleazeball company that lies to its customers and doesn't
support free software over a reputable company. Buy the Orchid.

They are both very good products. I personally give the Stealth 24
the edge because it stores all modem settings in EEPROM.
Another alternative you may want to consider is the Actix
GraphicsENGINE 32, also very good.
Best regards,
John
p.s. In any event, simply ignore the Diamond bashing from a very few
unrealistic customers that unfortunately choose to vent their
frustrations in public.

Until you come up with anything in the way of objective evidence of an
actual "lie," how about giving the personal vendetta a rest?

I guess it's unrealistic to expect companies not to lie to their customers,
then.

You're calling the folks who have posted their experiences with being lied to
by Diamond liars themselves.
As I told you in email, they have no reason to lie about what they've been
told. The standard of evidence you demand is impossible to meet. I trust them
more than I trust Diamond, or those who defend sleazy business practices.
To the original poster: Think carefully about the company you're proposing to
deal with. Read the messages from folks who Diamond lied to. Then ask yourself
if that's the kind of company you want to send money to.
