**Additive license packs give customers more flexibility in the way they upgrade their server. In the past, for example, customers who wanted to upgrade a 100-user license to accommodate 150 users had no choice but to upgrade to a 250-user license. With additive licensing, customers can purchase upgrades to match the number of users they need and add users in smaller increments as their business grows. Additive license packs require the use of an activation key, which must be requested and applied prior to installation. Additive license packs are for use on a single IntranetWare server license. One or more additive license packs may be added to the same server. Additive license packs may provide a more cost effective way to increase the number of users on a server.
NOTES:
1. User connection licenses for IntranetWare for Small Business are not interchangeable
with regular intranetware/NetWare and cannot be used to increase the user level
of regular IntranetWare. IntranetWare for Small Business does not qualify for special
promotional pricing for IntranetWare upgrades unless specifically stated.
2. IntranetWare for Small Business 5-user through 9-user connection licenses may be upgraded to IntranetWare 5-user at the like-to-like price.
3. IntranetWare for Small Business 10-user through 24-user connection licenses may be upgraded to IntranetWare 10-user at the like-to-like price or they may be upgraded to a 25-user IntranetWare license using the 10-user to 25-user Upgrade.
4. IntranetWare for Small Business 25-user connection licenses may be upgraded to IntranetWare at the 25-user like-to-like price (only INW/SB sites with a full 25-user connection license qualify for this special price) or they may be upgraded to a 50-user IntranetWare license using the 25-user to 50-user Upgrade.
