I've found the above book in a second-hand store.
They are asking 10 guilders for it (about 3.30 pounds or 5 dollars),
it looks quite good, but is it worth the money??
Its from 1980 but the first print was from 1979.
I think it was English but i could be Dutch (I live in Holland)

Greets,

Stefan Mansier.

Sounds like the William Barden, Jr. book (LOC 79-63607). It's the
first book I read on the subject, and I liked it. It's a good friendly
introduction for beginning programmers, but doesn't cover advanced
topics like interrupts.

The cover says $3.95, which is only 6.77 guilders (according to gnu
units 1.53, whose currency info is from 1996). Perhaps you could
bargain them down some.
