Gaithersburg, MD - (October 8, 1999) - NuvoMedia today joins publishing and technology leaders, including Microsoft, in developing an industry standard format for the future of the electronic book industry. Today, at the Electronic Book 98 conference sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg Maryland, NuvoMedia solidifies its support for standards in the emerging category of electronic books.
