NuvoMedia's Key Management

Martin F. Eberhard, co-founder and chief executive officer, brings more than 15 years of engineering and management experience to NuvoMedia. Prior to co-founding NuvoMedia, Eberhard was co-founder and Chief Engineer for Network Computing Devices. Eberhard also served as Vice President of Electronics for Belfort Memory International. Eberhard earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
 
  Douglas H. Klein is president and chief operating officer. Before joining NuvoMedia, Klein spent ten years at Network Computing Devices, where he had direct management responsibilities for all NCD engineering, program management and service and support. Klein earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
 
Marc Tarpenning, co-founder and vice president engineering, leads NuvoMedia's software product development activities. With over 16 years of software management and development expertise, Tarpenning's specialties include consumer product firmware, hard disk firmware, networked systems, real-time data acquisition and security access control. Tarpenning earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
 
David Ornstein, chief technical officer, is responsible for the integration of the company's technology and business strategies. Having written his first program when he was nine years old, he brings over 25 years of software development and management experience to NuvoMedia's executive team. Prior to joining NuvoMedia, David founded Pragmatica, an Internet development tools company. He has worked as Chief Executive Officer, Director of Research and Development, Chief Architect, standards committee chair, consultant and key individual contributor at numerous companies throughout the software industry.
 
Mary Ruberry is vice president of marketing. Prior to NuvoMedia, Ruberry spent eight years at Network Computing Devices. As Director Customer Service, Ruberry created and managed sales support, order administration, customer service and training. She also managed Beta programs, implemented online tracking systems, initiated the company's first vertical markets program and oversaw advertising and public relations programs. Before NCD, Ruberry was Director of Sales Administration at 3Com Corporation and Bridge Communications, Inc. She attended New York University.
 
Robert M. Carter, vice president business development, has 19 years experience in domestic and international business development. Carter earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University and his Master's in Private and Public Management from the Yale School of Management.
 
Thomas E. Colson, vice president manufacturing, has ten years of experience in high technology manufacturing. Prior to joining NuvoMedia, Colson held positions in engineering and management at Raychem Corporation. He was a key leader on a team that created a new business unit whose revenues grew from $300K to $30M in four years. Colson's specialties include project management, strategic planning, process design and scale up, and product development. Colson earned his Masters of Science
