Pavlovich mpav@purdue.edu Subject: [Livid-dev] CVS modules CVS is now up and running.. after only a few botches. There is one more that I am still waiting to get fixed, has to do with a complex notion of file permissions and the cvs passwd file.. so accounts are not all setup, but anonymous access works and there are 4 modules right now. decss - uh.. mgavideo - ryan drake's Marvel driver code nist - nist-0.6 ac3dec - ac3dec-0.5.5 I renamed the nist dirs to be lower case, and I need to clean up stuff so it builds. There is some overlap with the code right now. nist has ac3dec (i believe 0.5) and decss has the disk unlocking code in it (albeit for NT). I am re-working the web page, and it will become a module so others can help me out with it. Matthew R. Pavlovich

CVS access is now up for those that have sent me account info.. if i missed anyone, let me know. I am working on the web site tonight and there will be a www module for those that want to help out with the web site. I am stealing some of the nifty tools the glx team has written for posting cvs commit changlelogs to the list, so it will be easier to communicate what people have done. We will be merging the mgavideo site into livid, as we will start encompassing (sp?) more than just DVD. Also, I started an irc channel #livid on irc.openprojects.net for those that want to talk about development and provide a help resource for users. Matthew R. Pavlovich
