Co-founder Sells More Apple Stock
The New York Times
San Francisco -- March 14, 1986 -- Steven P. Jobs, co-founder and former chairman of Apple Computer Inc., has sold another 885,000 shares in the company. The sales occurred between Feb. 3 and Feb. 24 for prices from $22.79 to $25.25, according to reports of filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Jobs could not be reached for comment on the sale, and it was unclear how many shares he still owns.
After losing a power struggle last summer with John Sculley, who he had originally hired away from Pepsico Inc. to be Apple's president, Mr. Jobs left the company and started a new venture called Next.
