The Microsoft Office for the Macintosh on CD-ROM Is Now Shipping

Redmond, Wash.-- March 1, 1993 -- (Business Wire) -- Version 3.0 of The Microsoft Office for the Macintosh, the leading business solution on the Macintosh platform, is now available on CD-ROM.

This new version features the most recent releases of Microsoft applications for the Macintosh, including Microsoft Word version 5.1, Microsoft Excel version 4.0, Microsoft PowerPoint presentation graphics program version 3.0 and a Microsoft Mail version 3.1 Workstation License. The new CD-ROM version includes all of the documentation online.

The suggested retail price of The Microsoft Office version 3.0 for the Macintosh on CD-ROM is $750. A CD-ROM version of The Microsoft Office for Windows is also available.
